HGV Class 1 Driver / Workshop Assistant (Thursday – Sunday)

We currently have a vacancy for an HGV Class 1 Driver (Collection and Delivery) in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Norwich.

The HGV Class 1 Driver / Workshop Assistant responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• This is a duel role - Collection / delivery of vehicles from / to customers within Norwich and the surrounding area. Ad hoc longer journeys to other Ford & Slater dealerships.
• Occasional road testing of vehicles (subject to licence restrictions).
• Steam cleaning Trucks.
• General Workshop caretaker duties when not driving.

Shift pattern: Thursday to Sunday, 07:30 – 18:00 (with a 30 minute unpaid break each shift)

Who are we looking for as our HGV Class 1 Driver / Workshop Assistant:

• You must hold a valid UK Class 1 licence (ideally clean).
• Be a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
• Any mechanical knowledge would be an advantage but not essential.
• PC Literate.
